A large-scale project like Souver@n requires several fundamental prerequisites, which are being established through the Basis-Souver@n project. In this initiative, elan e.V. contributes by reducing the technological discrepancies between the software systems used by the network partners. This includes, among other tasks, bringing interfaces between the Opencast lecture-recording system and the various learning-management systems as well as the BigBlueButton video-conferencing system to a unified level. Here, elan e.V. benefits from its extensive expertise in open-source software development and its team of highly qualified developers with many years of experience — experts who are available in sufficient numbers to support the project immediately whenever needed.
